Electrical & Power Systems

AC power output (after 90% inverter efficiency) provides 4.3–5.4kW continuous for air conditioning and hotel loads whilst underway.

Air Conditioning Specification
System Architecture
Dual-zone climate control system provides 36,000 BTU/h (10.5kW peak) total installed capacity. Zone A (Accommodation): 24,000 BTU/h prioritises main cabins with demand-activated bathroom and day cabin cooling. Zone C (Main Salon): 12,000 BTU/h independent open-plan coverage with forced ventilation.
Control Strategy
Primary thermostat in main cabin suite maintains 22°C set-point. Secondary spaces activate via occupancy detection (light switches, motion sensors). Proportioning dampers redirect cooling to bathrooms and day cabins when requested. System complies with IMO SOLAS, ISO 7547, Lloyd's Register Type Approval.

Fire Protection
Automatic/manual fire extinguishing system for technical areas. Portable fire extinguishers throughout vessel. Pull handles in technical areas trigger engine shutdown and extinguishing system activation. Smoke detector system integrated.
